INSTRUCTIONS

Create a conceptual product by editing two household objects together.

RESEARCH AND IDEATION

For my combinations i went with more techy and modern looking objects.


For my first idea I combined a tissue box and a note book. The idea for this idea was that you can flip through the pages normally, or alternatively you can now also take individual pieces of paper through the opening in the top like a tissue box.




For my second idea i combined a perfume bottle with a gopro tripod. The idea for this was so that that the nozzle of the perfume bottle can have the same level of adjustment as the tripod. The nozzle can be attached and detached, It can also add additional attachments to the nozzle.




For my final sketch I combine a microphone stand and bodyspray bottle. A microphone that doubles as a convenient stand for your body spraybottle.



DIGITIZATION AND PROCESS

I first started by snipping out the main body of the microphone. I also left the buttons and the headphone jack seperated.


I then adjusted and morphed the bodyspray bottle to fit perfectly into the frame of the microphone.


I then added the outer area of the microphone and re-introduced the buttons and the headphone jacks.

It shows a plastic bottle in the shape of a fish getting caught by a fishing hook represented by a straw. I also limited myself to only two colors for this sketch.
