Name: Abdullah Yazdan Zahid ID: 0367869 Course: Bachelor of design (Hons) In creative media INSTRUCTIONS:  Apply Scott McCloud's theory on transitions to create a digital triptych, comprising three panels: one before, one during (climactic turning point), and one after a significant event. Each panel will represent a different transition type from McCloud's theory. SKETCHING AND IDEAS Mood board Sketches I began my sketches in photoshop. I wanted to find a good composition for all the panels. Final Artwork The first panel shows a car finding the Foolhudhigu Handi in the woods. For the second panel it is a close up of the monsters face. This is to emulate the view that the driver of the car sees while the monster is in front of it. I wanted to create the feel of a jump cut to the monsters face by using the close up. While shading the character I made sure to keep the lighting on the character from the headlights from the car. I grew up in a small island called Male’ from the Maldives. I am 19 years old. The things I find most interesting are videogames and animated films. What is your passion?: M y passion is 3D animation. When I was younger I started using an application called blender. This was a free 3D art software. Since I started using Blender my passion for 3D art sky rocketed. I started by modeling 2D characters from games and cartoons in 3D, then i started making short animations.
