TASK 2 -  Typographic exploration and communication

First I decided on the format I was placing the text and the title. I went through several iterations before I landed on the final one.

Fig 1.1 - Blocking out the format (11.12.2023)

I ended up using a version from the first sketch as my final composition.

Afterwards, I used Adobe illustrator to design the title. I started by using the Bodoni font and writing out the title. Then I made the word build bold and made it go over the rest of the sentence to make it look like it has been built on top of it. Afterwards, I changed the font style of 'live' to book Italicised in order to emphasize the freeflowing and sophisticated nature of life. Finally, for word 'code', I took the literal meaning of code and made binary run downwards from the 'o'.

FInally, I finalised my format after taking some advice from Vinod sir during class. He told me to use less of the space in the format and to move the text over to the right.
